Yahoo Mail Setup with Truckerdox

Yahoo Mail is compatible with Truckerdox, but may require extra steps to allow the app to communicate with your mailbox.  In addition to the standard email setup instructions, the following steps may be necessary:

Enable POP Access

By default, Yahoo Mail leaves POP access disabled until you specifically request it.  Follow these steps to correct the issue:

  1. Sign in to Yahoo Mail.

  2. Mouse over the Settings menu icon (gear icon) and select Settings.

  3. Click Accounts.

  4. Beside "Yahoo Account," click Edit.

  5. Beside "Access your Yahoo Mail elsewhere," select POP.

  6. Pick how you want to handle spam emails:

    • Don't download spam email - No spam is sent to the mail client.

    • Download spam with no special indicators - Spam is sent to the mail client as-is.

    • Download spam, but prefix the word "Spam" - Spam is sent to the mail client and says "Spam" in the subject.

  7. Click Save.
